Help & FAQ

Constancy

Constancy helps you practice the spiritual disciplines in the rhythm of everyday life. If you need help or have a question, we're glad to assist.

Contact us: constancy@euonworks.com
We aim to respond within two business days. You can also send feedback from within the app, under More › Give feedback. If you're reporting a problem, it helps to include your phone and the version shown at the bottom of the More tab.

Getting started

Which devices does Constancy run on?

iPhone and Android. Get it on the App Store or Google Play.

Where can I learn my way around?

Open the More tab and tap How it works for a short tour of the app. Welcome tour, just below it, replays the introduction you saw when you first signed in.

What languages does Constancy speak?

English and 简体中文 (Simplified Chinese) today. Go to More › Language to switch. Everything switches over — the app, the practices in Inspire, and your reminders.

If you could help bring Constancy into another language, or improve an existing translation, we'd love to hear from you — email constancy@euonworks.com. More in Ways to help.

Is Constancy free?

Yes. Constancy is free to download and use.

Your practices

How do I record something I practiced earlier?

Open the practice from the Action tab, tap the menu in the top corner, and choose Catch up. Pick the day you kept it and save. A missed day is an invitation to return, not something to undo.

Where did my stopped or finished practices go?

They move to Past actions. From the Action tab, tap the menu in the top corner and choose View past actions. Nothing is deleted — your history stays with you.

Does Constancy work without a connection?

You can open the app and read what's already loaded. Saving — marking a practice kept, writing a journal entry, changing a setting — needs a connection, and the app will tell you rather than lose your work. Try again once you're online.

Reminders

How do I set a daily reminder?

Open the More tab, tap Notifications, turn on Daily reminder, and choose a time that suits you. If your phone hasn't given permission yet, tap Turn on right there in the app.

I'm not receiving reminders.

First check that Daily reminder is on under More › Notifications, and that no permission prompt is waiting there.

If it's on and reminders still don't arrive, check your phone's settings. On iPhone: Settings › Notifications › Constancy. On Android: Settings › Apps › Constancy › Notifications. Email us if they still don't come through and we'll help.

Walking together

What is Walking together?

A way to keep a practice alongside someone else. You each keep your own practice, at your own rhythm. When one of you shows up, the other is told — nothing more. Let it move you to connect: a message, a call, time together. The real friendship is yours, not the app's.

How do I invite someone, or join with a code?

To invite: open one of your practices from the Action tab, tap the menu, and choose Walk together. Constancy gives you a code to send however you like.

To join: open More › Walking together, tap Enter an invite code, and enter the code you were sent.

What can my companion see?

The name you set in Profile, and that you showed up for the practice you share — at most once a day, as a note like "Sarah showed up for Personal Devotion this morning."

That's all. Not your email address, not your notes or journal entries, not your reflections, not your other practices, and not your completion history. You can walk with up to twelve people.

How do I stop walking with someone?

To stop one shared practice, open it and tap the Walking this together marker, then Stop walking together. To end the connection entirely, go to More › Walking together, open the person, and choose Part ways.

Either way, you both keep your own practice and history, and they aren't notified.

Your account & data

How is my data handled?

Everything in Constancy stays private to your account, encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your data or use it to track you across apps. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is my data on all my devices?

Yes. Your practices, history, journal entries, and reflections belong to your account, not to one phone. Sign in on another device and they're there.

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and follow the emailed instructions to set a new password. If you're already signed in, you can change it under More › Profile › Change password.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to More › Profile, and under Danger zone tap Delete account. You'll see a warning screen, then be asked to type DELETE to confirm.

This removes everything tied to your account — your actions, completion history, journal entries, reflections, profile, and notification settings. It cannot be undone. Your email is freed for signing up again, and we'll send a confirmation once the deletion is complete.
